About the Role We have multiple current and upcoming casual and part time roles, with opportunities to work both onsite and out in the community, to support people with disability in achieving their goals and living their best lives. Every day is different! You could be: Helping a young person prepare for work through job skills, resume writing, and shopping for work-ready clothing Supporting transport training so clients can confidently access their community Contributing to and supporting in-house programs like dance, yoga, art, or sports such as swimming or even bringing in your own hobbies to share Contributing to other community programs like Transition to Work and others, focused on inclusion and empowerment You’ll provide active support in both community and onsite settings, working with clients aged from 5 years to older adults. Skills And Experiences Knowledge, skills and experience Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in dynamic environments Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients of all ages Creative thinking and adaptability to deliver engaging, goal-focused activities Understanding of person-centred support and community inclusion principles Effective communication and record-keeping skills for reporting and collaboration Capability to manage challenging behaviours in a respectful, positive manner What You’ll Need Before Starting Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services (or equivalent)(willingness to enrol and complete, may be considered) Current First Aid and CPR certification Current Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle Completion of NDIS Orientation Module and other mandatory training Experience in disability support or community programs We’re serious about safeguarding our clients.
